prostate-specific antigen (PSA)
A clinical laboratory test; PSA is a tumor marker that is used to screen for, monitor response to treatment of, and determine degree of spread of prostate cancer. Normally, PSA blood levels should be low as PSA is passed out of the body in the ejaculate.
