(1) In CICS Transaction Server, a predefined name by which a dump is known. There are two types of dump code, transaction dump codes and system dump codes, used in transaction dumps and system dumps, respectively. A dump code can be defined by CICS or the user and is used to select a set of system actions. These actions are held in either the system or transaction dump table.
