A table that holds temporary data and is defined with the SQL statement DECLARE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE. Information about declared temporary tables is not stored in the DB2 catalog, so this kind of table is not persistent and can only be used by the application process that issued the DECLARE statement.
