The cat goddess of protection. She is more commonly known as Bast. She is the daughter and protector Ra. She is also the defender of the pharaoh. She is now depicted as a domestic cat, and therefore regarded as a good mother. She is the most honored feline goddess in Ancient Egypt and is considered an Eye of Ra.
